Application  Specialist

Profile: Application Specialist : Product Support
The Application  Specialist will contribute to the successful and timely support and deployment of the TrakCare product by providing application knowledge in the functional areas of product support, requirements scoping, field design documentation and change request testing. The Applications Support Specialist will act as an ”expert” product resource for our partners.InterSystems seeks experienced candidates who are creative, motivated, and energetic problem-solvers to join a group of experts working with a broad range of new and advanced technology. Depending on your level of experience the training program can include: classroom learning, e-learning, projects, and external courses. Your mentor will also help you familiarize you with the InterSystems environment.
Key Responsibilities
  •  Provide immediate response to customer inquiries in accordance with service standards. Provide support to current installed based customers.
  •  Provide the link between our customers and the InterSystems Global Support organization
  • Liaise with customers in order to understand the work processes and requirements that are required to be addressed by the TrakCare application
  • Provide application  support for the  TrakCare Hospital Management System.
  • Support the implementation of the TrakCare application in a manner that will suit the business requirements of the customer and follow the methodologies and processes of InterSystems
  •  Escalate Open (unresolved) problems in accordance with current policies and procedures.
  •  Conduct individual and group training, product demonstrations and workshops as required
  •  Continuously improve customer satisfaction by soliciting customer suggestions for product and service improvements and then escalating such suggestions to management.
  •  Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for TrakCare.
  •  Improve response time to customer inquiries by continuously improving communication, analytical, and learning skills.
  •  If required, work with our partners to identify potential changes within the parameters of the product
  •  Participate in on-site  implementations if required
  •  Participate in the on call 24 hour roster service
Experience and Qualifications
  •  General aptitude for solving problems and using technology to improve processes
  •  Understanding and experience in implementation of product solutions
  •  Understanding and experience with Hospital Information Systems
  •  Proven ability to think laterally and come up with innovative solutions for software product implementations
  •  An ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and within tight time constraints

Education and Training

Product Specialist, Edition

Overview
The Edition Product Specialist’s key responsibilities include using extensive domain knowledge and experience to work both with the regional team and Global Edition as well as customers to define and build the TrakCare China Edition.This role will be responsible for producing product requirements and use cases ,building configuration and participating with technical and application specialists on developing prototype and total solutions.  Additionally, the role will be responsible for producing documentation and test scripts for the solutions designed in the region.Product Specialists are the subject matter expert (SME) for their domain area and as such work with and effectively communicate with Developers and customers in order to understand the requirements for the product moving into the future.
Responsibilities
  • · Ensures that the Global Edition is used wherever possible
  • · Responsible for the integrity of the China Edition
  • · Works with implementation to minimise site specific configuration
  • · Acts as the local advocate for the TrakCare product team
  • · Assists with tender responses
  • · Assists with scoping and planning of new developments as needed.
  • · Works closely with end users and internal staff to understand workflow processes that impact change request requirements to ensure implementation of developed changes satisfy stated needs.
  • · Prepares and delivers product material, product presentations and demonstrations as needed to support knowledge sharing, learning, pre-sales and customer requirements.
  • · Develop use cases or product requirements and functional requirements for new functionality.
  • · Support other teams such as Quality Development, Learning Services, and Documentation in understanding new functionality.
  • · Collect, synthesize and prioritize customer feedback, using a combination of live customer feedback sessions and additional feedback mechanisms
  • · Participate in project teams with Developers and other key staff to develop new functionality for the product.
  • · Other duties may be directed by the Company from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated domain expertise with clear understanding of healthcare and departmental interdependencies and workflows, specifically in relation to Medication Management.
  • Background working with a vendor or consultancy in a similar role.
  • Experience in writing use cases, requirements, or functional documentation for healthcare applications.
  • Previous experience working with healthcare applications at an in depth level.
  • Tertiary education in either a Medical domain or Health Informatics.
  • Domain experience in Medication Management.

  • Knowledge of web orientated languages, including SQL, HTML,JavaScript.

Reception
